The Light of Future Arts in light room one

LichTraum by Sonia Siblik and Lichtraum eins by Paul Siblik are delighted to be part of the international collaboration The Light of Future Arts 2026. In celebration of the Chinese Year of the Horse and commemorating 55 years of diplomatic relations between China and Austria, the project unites artists from China, Austria, and many other countries. The horse serves as a shared symbol for movement, freedom, cultural exchange, and the connection between people and cultures.

The international exhibition series began on February 26, 2026, at the Vienna Hofburg and subsequently traveled to the Vienna Central Justice Center, the Kunstforum Weinviertel in Mistelbach, and Schönbrunn Zoo. Now it reaches its final destination: From October 2 to 23, 2026, Lichtraum eins presents a total of 112 artistic interpretations of the horse and the fire horse under the title THE FIRE HORSE.

The opening on October 2nd at 6 pm will be accompanied by live music from the Informal Family Session with Roger Cartwright, Veronika Junger and Mathias Handwerk.

A special finale awaits us at the closing event on October 23, 2026: Selected works from the exhibition will be auctioned by Dorotheum. This marks the end of an extraordinary journey that demonstrates what is particularly important to us: Art transcends borders, fosters dialogue between cultures, and creates connections that extend far beyond a single exhibition.
