Textile Unbound

about the art of connecting

Textile art is a language of threads, memory, and touch.
It is created where hands think, where material breathes, and where stories are woven in.
Textiles connect generations, cultures, and bodies – and at the same time, they transcend boundaries. They go beyond the decorative, the functional, the domestic, and become testaments to identity, resilience, and transformation.

With TEXTILE UNBOUND we open a space for textile works that appear not bound, but liberated:
free from classical classifications, free from the old categories of "applied" or "decorative", free in their claim to be art.

This exhibition showcases the impressive diversity of textile thought and creation:

  • Threads that carry stories – memories, biographies, genealogical lines.

  • Fabrics that make identity visible – as body, as landscape, as voice.

  • Materials that become presence – organic or industrial, soft or resistant.

  • Textiles that don't hold, but transform – they flow, they grow, they dissolve, they connect.

Textile art is not silent.
She speaks – quietly yet powerfully.
She tells of care, vulnerability, work, ritual, community, and rebellion.
It is a bridge between tradition and contemporary expression, between craftsmanship and concept, between the inside and the outside.

TEXTILE UNBOUND invites you to listen to this language anew and discover its poetic, political, and physical power.
A space where textiles don't bind – but liberate.
