OF EUROPE
UNTIL
LATIN AMERICA

Our BasementArt – from the idea to the stage for art and life

BasementArt began its artistic journey in late 2023 – initially as a simple studio, a place of creation, tranquility and beginnings.

With the first exhibition in 2024, the vision emerged to make this space more: a vibrant center for art, encounters, and culture. And although the renovation is still underway and much is happening in parallel with the creative work, the moment has now come to celebrate the next step.

On May 18, 2025, we cordially invite you to the ceremonial opening of BasementArt – with the special music concert:
“From Europe to Latin America”

An atmospheric evening awaits you with the Mexican pianist and composer Citlali Gómez Escobar, who lives and works in Vienna.
Citlali holds a Master's degree in Social Design (University of Applied Arts Vienna) and a Bachelor's degree in Classical Piano (Facultad de Música, Mexico). Her artistic practice understands music as a carrier of social knowledge, collective memory, and cultural identity.

At her side: the dynamic mezzo-soprano Luxana Lozano, a graduate of the Manhattan School of Music, whose roots are deeply embedded in Mexico's rich musical heritage. Her voice moves with ease between classical, tradition, and passion.

The two artists will be accompanied by Alondra Siblik and Alexandra Traxler, two young piano students of Citlali Gómez, who will enrich the concert with their talent and freshness.

Works by composers from Latin America and Europe will be played – a musical dialogue between continents, carried by romanticism, joie de vivre and deep connection.

We are looking forward to this special moment – and to you.
Welcome to BasementArt.
