The exhibition “Window to another dimension” is an extraordinary collaboration between the two artists Carolina Acosta Figueiras aka Painted Birds and Jan Köllges. It is presented in cooperation with BasementArt by LichTraum and invites you to discover new perspectives.

In this exhibition, the two-dimensional works of Painted Birds meet the three-dimensional works of Jan Köllges. What's exciting is that both artists have integrated stylistic features of the other into their own work. Although their usual works are very different, this approach creates something completely new - a creative connection that allows different materials and forms of expression to collide.

What awaits you?
The exhibition is an invitation to explore new ways of presenting and techniques. Each exhibit unfolds into something unprecedented through the addition of unusual elements. The showcases in which the works are presented act as windows into another world. They tell stories, preserve them for eternity and at the same time open our eyes to the hidden - to what normally remains hidden from us if we do not have the courage to try something new.

Art offers us exactly this courage to “pull back the curtains” and simply open the window to gain a broader view of things.
