She

The series "She" consists of four characters inspired by Mouna Arnout's work "Across the Water". These works deal with various topics that are particularly important in a woman's life today, including femicide, sexual self-actualization, self-realization and strength. The idea behind the series is to encourage the potential viewer to think about these topics and to initiate a dialogue about them.

Each character in the series embodies an aspect of these themes in an artistic way and encourages us to explore and question the different facets of being a woman. By portraying strength, self-determination and the ability to overcome obstacles, the characters are intended to encourage us to reflect on our own role in society and to work for equality and empowerment.

The series "She" serves not only as an artistic expression but also as a means of promoting awareness and change. By addressing topics that are often taboo or overlooked, it helps to promote an open and inclusive discussion about the challenges and opportunities of being a woman in today's society.

The figures were catalogued and presented in various exhibitions, including "Made of Color, Paper and Canvas" at the Mexican Cultural Institute, "Ometeotl" also at this institution and "Best of Street/Art" in Lichtraum eins by Paul Siblik.

Participation in these exhibitions allowed the figures to be made accessible to a wider audience and to bring the messages they embody to a diverse audience. The variety of exhibition venues and formats allowed the figures to penetrate different cultural and artistic contexts, thus contributing to a comprehensive dialogue on the issues they represent.
